Garden Club brings the magic of the natural world to life for children aged 5 to 11 (and older children by arrangement, just ask). Across a vibrant working garden they dig in the soil, discover living things, grow beautiful flowers and connect with nature in a way that stays with them. It's a screen-free, hands-on space full of wonder, with no targets, no tests and no wrong answers.

Weekly · term time

Home Ed sessions

Our termly programme for home-educated children. Garden Club runs every Monday, 9.30am to 2.30pm, in themed four-week blocks that follow the garden through the seasons. Each week families receive Rumbo resource sheets as evidence of learning, and every child earns a Certificate of Completion at the end of the block.

Holidays · open to all

Holiday provision

During half terms and school holidays we open the garden to all children aged 5 to 11. A relaxed, joy-filled day of growing, making and outdoor play, fully child-led, with no formal evidence or certificates. Just a spacious, screen-free day in the garden.

Every session is drop-off. Parents are welcome to stay and settle a little one, then encouraged to head off for the day.

A gentle rhythm

Never rushed, always led by the child

Every session follows a gentle, seasonal rhythm, active and exploratory but never rushed. Children lead the pace, moving freely through a carousel of activities and settling wherever their curiosity takes them. Learning field to fork sits right at the heart of it: growing, tending and harvesting real food, then discovering exactly where it comes from. The day closes with a moment of calm grounding, and the cabin's quiet corner is there whenever a child needs a breather.
